so I went with it,, all the way, and even dressed her in bonnet and
simple empire waist gown.

Message in a bottle! Alice's Adventure began without me!

ell we arrived home safe and sound from our amazing trip to Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri!
( A big THANKYOU to all who left encouraging messages while away... You just don't know how much they meant to me!!!) I will share more about the trip and ceremony later.... it requires a whole post all to itself. I just want to wait til my soldier boy is not within hugging distance. He is my priority at the moment, and gladly! :-)

While away, we left poor Alice all on her lonesome and on our return, we found her holding a glass bottle with a handwritten note saying "drink me" . Hmmmmm, since it appears to be empty I can assume she did as told and well the rest is history (so to speak).

Tsk Tsk, shame shame!

ver a month since my last post!!!??? How did this happen? Just busy with life really. Went to Florida for part of it, which was so lovely and oh so relaxing! Now preparing to leave this Monday for Missouri to pick up my son. He just finished basic training at Fort Leonard Wood and is coming home for a couple of weeks, than off to Fort Hood!!!! I'm so excited to see him and could not be more proud.

But I have not neglected my doll-making entirely. I've been wanting to create another "Alice in Wonderland" for some time now.... and with the movie just out (which i still have not seen btw), was the much needed inspiration.

When we get back on the 8th of May I hope to get her finished and listed on Ebay.
Sure hope ya'll are having a beautiful and productive spring!!!!!

Edward Tulane doll just in time for Easter!

or Christmas that is! I'm going to put her on Ebay this evening just in case someone NEEDS a last minute gift for themselves or someone they love!!! She won't take up much room under the tree either at only 5 inches tall. And comes with her own gift box too!

Well ya knew I had to do it!

hat's right ... a minuscule version of an early Grodnertal Tuck comb doll.
This one is 4.5" ... I modeled her after one of John Darcy Noble's dolls. (Here she is posing with a picture of said doll from his book of antique dolls...

oh and her teensy 1" pull toy sheep was challenging, to say the least, oh my!

Minuscule Queen Anne

o very, very petite,,, standing at only 4.5".
My hand looks huge! It really isn't I promise!
She's a handful alright,(in more ways than one, lol ! )

wee bit of a thing here, 6.5" to be exact.... I love all things mini and I'll bet that is why I cannot get enough of these dollhouse sized Izzys. I have a collection of mini paper houses and this one is a copy from my original... She happens to have claimed it for her very own. Of course I was not able to say "no" to that face !

My smallest Izannah Walker yet !!!!

I've been wanting to make a dollhouse sized Itty Izzy for a very long time and
finally got around to.... (so tiny in stature but so big in personality I should add.) She is 6 inches tall and proud of it!
